Azure Repos app for Microsoft Teams

Coding is a team sport. To help developers be more efficient, we are excited to annouce the new Azure Repos app for Microsoft Teams.

If you use Azure Repos and Microsoft Teams, the app will help you monitor your repositories and branches from within Teams channels. You can have contextual discusssions around code in your Teams channel. The app supports both Git and TFVC repositories.

Things you can do with the app

Azure Repos app for Teams helps you to do following things from your Microsoft Teams channel:

• Get notified when code is pushed (Git) or checked in (TFVC)
• Get notified when pull requests are created, updated or when a merge is attempted
• Use filters to customize what you be notified of in the channel
• Use messaging extension to search and share pull requests with other members in the channel
• Use pull request URL to get a preview of pull request. This will help to add context to the conversations in the channel
